An Inverness-Edinburgh train service was halted at Aviemore today after a problem with a carriage door.
This followed a 20 minute halt between Slochd Summit and Carrbridge.
The Edinburgh Waverley bound Scotrail Train departed Inverness at 3.22pm.
At 5.12pm the replacement train arrived at Aviemore. It departed Aviemore at 5.15pm.
A ScotRail spokeswoman said: “The train had to terminate at Aviemore because of a potential issue with the door locking mechanism. The passengers were all transferred onto a following train to complete their journey.”
