A cat enjoying a nap endured a rather terrifying yet apparently thoroughly enjoyable surprise over the weekend.
The kitten was simply trying to relax in the wings of a microlight when he ended up joining a French couple on a short flight – much to the shock of both the couple and the cat!
The flight was all caught on video and was uploaded to YouTube yesterday where it has already been viewed almost 100,000 times.
The cat looks shocked at first but clings on for dear life and appears to enjoy the rest of the flight.
One person who viewed the video, Grace Carlyle, sums up everyone’s thoughts well, she commented saying: “I would so love to read that kitty’s mind. There’s a couple of loud meows but I’m not sure he’s terrified or eventually just enjoying the flight.”
Fortunately for the cat and the couple in the aircraft everyone landed safely and the pilot posted on YouTube to say “the cat is fine”.
