Forward Ryan Dow has left Peterhead to join Championship side Dunfermline on a one-year deal.

Dow spent last season with the Blue Toon, initially on loan from Ross County before he made the move permanent in January.

The 27-year-old made 32 appearances for Jim McInally’s men, netting five goals to help the Balmoor outfit clinch the League 2 title.

Former Dundee United player Dow has opted to return to Scottish football’s second-tier however, and will feature for Stevie Crawford’s Pars next term.
