James Wilson has joined Salford City on an 18-month deal from Aberdeen.
The former Manchester United trainee, who joined Aberdeen after his Red Devils contract expired last summer, cut short his stay in the Granite City for a switch to the League 2 side.
He made 16 appearances for the Dons this season but the majority of them came from the bench. Manager Derek McInnes had persuaded him to take a significant wage cut to move to Pittodrie but he now joins another ex-Aberdeen striker in Adam Rooney at City.
We can confirm that striker James Wilson has moved to English League Two side @SalfordCityFC on a permanent deal.
