Elgin City skipper Darryl McHardy has joined Rothes until the end of the season, with the Black and Whites drafting in Dundee United’s Ross Graham on a temporary deal.
Defender McHardy has struggled for a starting place since returning from a dislocated shoulder which ruled him out for several months earlier in the season.
The 24-year-old will link up with his former City manager Ross Jack, whose Speysiders side are third in the Highland League ahead of today’s game against leaders Brora Rangers.
Elgin manager Gavin Price has moved to bring in United defender Graham on loan for the rest of the campaign, with the 18-year-old among the substitutes for today’s League 2 home match against Stenhousemuir.
Elgin’s teenage defender Ashley Ballam has also been loaned out to Huntly.
