Ross County have signed Celtic midfielder Ewan Henderson on a season-long loan ahead of the transfer deadline.
Henderson has been on the fringes of the Hoops’ first team in recent seasons, making eight appearances since making his debut in a 0-0 draw against Kilmarnock in May 2018.
The 19-year-old will now have the opportunity to gain more senior experience in the Premiership with County, whose tally of summer signings rises to nine.
Henderson, whose brother Liam plays for Serie A club Hellas Verona, could make his debut in County’s next outing at home to St Mirren on September 14.
Staggies co-manager Stuart Kettlewell said: “We are delighted to bring Ewan in. We believe he will add a different dimension to us in the middle of the park. Obviously coming from Celtic he has an excellent pedigree and is very highly regarded at Celtic Park. Hopefully, he can come in here and continue to develop and get some game time under his belt.”
