Rangers are closing in on a double signing from English Premier side Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gers have been chasing a number of players from the Spurs youth team and are now believed to have secured season long loan deals to sign Nathan Oduwa, 19, and Dominic Ball, 20.

Left winger Oduwa has represented England at Under-17 and Under-18 level and had also been linked with a move to the English Championship, with Rangers boss Mark Warburton’s former club Brentford said to be one of a number of English sides keen on taking him on loan.

In February this year Oduwa joined League Two side Luton Town on loan, making 11 appearances for The Hatters.

Central defender Ball represented Northern Ireland at all levels from Under-15 through to Under-21, however, he has recently switched his allegiance to England and has turned out for England at Under-19 and Under-20 levels.

Ball has yet to make his Tottenham first team debut but did make 11 appearances for Cambridge United during a loan spell last season.

Both players are expected to undergo medicals in Glasgow tomorrow morning before finalising the deals.
