Stranger Things’ David Harbour promises to conduct wedding for retweets

Stranger Things star David Harbour has promised a fan he will officiate at her wedding – if he gets 125,000 retweets.

The 42-year-old actor said he would get ordained and conduct the ceremony as long as the nuptials fit around filming season three of the hit Netflix show.

He agreed to take part after a fan called Ericka posted a message on Twitter asking: “What would it take to get @DavidKHarbour to be the Officiant at my wedding in September?!”

Harbour replied: “125k retweets. Provided date works with s3 shooting schedule, I will get ordained and perform ceremony.

“I get to read an esteemed love letter of my choosing, and after the cake is officially cut, I get the very first piece. #allthecakes.”

It is not the first time Harbour has set a retweet challenge.

The actor, who plays Chief Hopper in the series, recently took part in a student’s high school senior photos after promising her he would do it if they received 25,000 retweets.

He also insisted he got to wear the teenager’s official school sweatshirt and carry a trombone for the snaps.

The Twitter user, postydamaris, recently shared the results of the photo shoot.

She later said the actor was “the sweetest, most kind-hearted person to ever walk this earth”.
