Aberdeen have today secured the signing of Norwich City midfielder James Maddison.
Derek McInnes was known to be on the hunt for a midfield ace to replace injured skipper Ryan Jack and it looks like he finally has his man.
The Press and Journal revealed earlier today that McInnes had ruled out a move for former Rangers man Jamie Ness but was keen to bring in the former Coventry City starlet.
Maddison, 19, was signed by Norwich from League One side on a three-and-a-half- year-deal in January, and loaned back to the Sky Blues for the rest of the season.
The teenager made 31 appearances for Coventry, scoring four times and made his Norwich debut in a 6-1 Capital Cup win this season – against his old club Coventry.
