What the papers say Manchester United have seen a £40million bid for Aaron Wan-Bissaka rejected by Crystal Palace, according to The Guardian. The Reds are said to be considering whether to raise their offer for the England Under-21 international. Wan-Bissaka, 21, has a contract at Selhurst Park until 2022 – and neither he nor club busses are in a rush to move on, the paper says.

According to the Mirror, the 29-year-old is said to want £200,000 a week, more than double his current salary, but United are working around figures of £125,000 a week. The Spaniard’s contract ends in the summer but it is thought United bosses are keen to keep the midfielder at Old Trafford for at least three more years.
