Ed Miliband Ed Miliband The Labour leader worked hard to make the breakthrough he requires to win the keys to Number 10, but struggled to stand out. Nick Clegg Nick Clegg The Liberal Democrat leader was remarkably upbeat considering his party faces near wipe-out, but is unlikely to wake up to any “Clegg-mania” Nigel Farage Nigel Farage Mr Farage stood out, adopting a different tone from the others, but made an ill-judged attack on immigrants accessing HIV drugs. Leanne Wood Leeanne Wood The Plaid Cymru leader will be known by far more people this morning after a confident performance, often working in tandem with Ms Sturgeon. Nicola Sturgeon Nicola Sturgeon The SNP leader landed a number of blows on Mr Miliband and Mr Cameron, and made no blunders that could threaten to stop the SNP surge. Natalie Bennett Natalie Bennett The Green leader appeared to lack confidence but avoided any embarrassments.
