Brazilian-born TV personality Rodrigo Alves is also known by his nickname – the Human Ken Doll.

The 35-year-old is reported to have had more than £500,000 worth of plastic surgery to alter his appearance.

In January this year he appeared on ITV’s This Morning, where he spoke to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about surgery he had undergone to have four of his ribs removed.

He revealed he had visited three different doctors – two in Europe and one in America – because he had wanted to have a total of six ribs removed, but was only able to have four removed in the end.

Explaining why he had the surgery, he said: “Thanks to plastic surgery, today I am able to express myself through fashion, right?

“All my blazers, they have to be altered because my size is 36 for shoulders but then because my around here (gestures to his waist area) was a little bit bigger, I had to always have a bigger blazer and get it altered. After this procedure I can wear a 36 blazer and do it up perfectly”.

During the interview, the camera panned to the four removed ribs which were on a table in the studio in a jar.

Alves has spoken extensively about the various procedures he has had, which include botox, fillers, nose jobs, an eye and neck lift, calf shaping, a chin implant, a fake six-pack and facelifts.

In August 2017, he told Loose Women he had undergone his first procedure aged 17. He said as part of puberty he had developed “boobs” and was being bullied at school because of the physical development, so had surgery to remove them.

He appeared on All 4’s series titled Make Me A Famous Face in 2016, which documented “super fanatics who will stop at nothing to reach celebrity-like perfection”, the synopsis said.

Alves, who has more than 62,000 followers on Twitter, posted a photograph of himself days before going into Celebrity Big Brother, advocating a diet he said had helped him lose two stone.

Alongside a photograph showing off his physique, he wrote:  “The #ketogenicdiet really works I lost 2 stones and 2 month now it is part of my lifestyle #rodrigoalves”.

He attended this year’s Golden Globes ceremony in Hollywood and posted pictures of himself on the red carpet wearing a white suit.

A number of high-profile stars wore black at the ceremony to show their support for the Time’s Up campaign, but Alves explained his white outfit on Instagram, saying: “I don’t have to wear black in order to support a cause, my actions and personal support goes much further then an outfit colour code. I admire of all of those who have spoken out.”
