A twelfth baby for the Sullivan Family: But what do the first 11 think?

How do the Sullivan kids feel about the impending arrival?

When Ben and Zoe Sullivan said they had an announcement to make, the kids thought it was either Disneyland, a new house – or another baby.

The couple still suspect some of their 11-strong family were left a bit disappointed they’re not getting a holiday or their own bedroom.

But what do you say when Mum and Dad tell you Baby Number 12 is scheduled to arrive next year?

This hilarious video, shot by Ben for the family’s YouTube channel, gives you an idea of the Sullivan family kids’ reaction.

The big reveal

Zoe and Ben saved the news until they were happy the baby was well so far.

They gathered the family in the sitting room to make the announcement.

And that led to the Sullivan family kids’ reaction – overall, a positive one.

Zoe said later: “They’re over the moon.

“The older girls and I had a shopping trip to Inverness and they were picking stuff out for the baby.”

Joseph – three and the current baby of the family – seemed slightly worried about the prospect of a younger sibling, but his mum said he is happier now.

She added: “Joseph is a lockdown baby and just doesn’t like new things or people. He won’t even wear his new coat just now.

“But he’s happy and says he loves the baby now. Let’s see what it’s like when it comes.”

Brother or sister?

Zoe said: “Agnes wants a baby sister, but I don’t think the rest of them really mind.”

As far as her own sixth sense is concerned, Zoe says she doesn’t have one.

She added: “I don’t know what it us at the moment – most of the time I get it wrong anyway.

“I’m on the edge of the side of it’s a girl – but who knows? I have no idea.”

Zoe says they are planning a private scan to find out – with the bonus that they will be able to take some of the kids with them and get them involved.

“I’d quite like to know so I could prepare.”
