This is a rather remarkable book as all proceeds from it will be donated to the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Organisation.

It is also dedicated to Dr Hugh Bishop, consultant paediatric oncologist and all the staff at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, and Professor W. Hamish Wallace, professor of paediatric oncology, University of Edinburgh & Royal Hospital for Sick Children.

Written by Ian Dosset, 50, from Aberdeen, it is a self-help book that gives advice and guidance to those involved in, or looking to enter the residential property investing market.

The writer first started investing in property 27 years ago but only realised he was doing it wrong until five years ago.
He’s been a business analyst in the oil industry for many years but is now taking a break.
The book aims to help investors avoid the many mistakes he made and while some of the content is UK-specific, the overall intent is for it the key lessons to be relevant globally to all countries.

Both his parents and his 10-year-old son have blood cancer, and the book is his way of saying thanks to the medical world.

The book can be bought online but can also be bought in person from Ian as he’s in Aberdeen until June 14. Contact him on iandossett@hotmail.com
