The all-new Audi Q2 is now available for order in the UK, with prices for the compact SUV starting at £22,380.

An entry-level model, powered by a three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine, will make its way on to showroom floors later this year and will cost £20,230.

Customers have a choice of four trim levels on the new Q2: SE, Sport, S Line and Edition #1.

Audi is offering a good deal of standard equipment on the new car, with highlights including progressive steering, a smartphone interface and Audi pre-sense front – which uses radar to detect vehicles and pedestrians.

Three engines are currently available on the Q2: one petrol and two diesels.
The 1.4-litre, 148bhp petrol unit is available with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed S-tronic automatic gearbox.

The 114bhp, 1.6-litre TDI diesel is currently only available with a six-speed manual transmission, although customers will be able to opt for the seven-speed S-tronic later this year.

The top-of-the-line, 148bhp, 2.0-litre diesel is initially only available with the S-tronic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive, but will have a two-wheel-drive variant added in 2017.

Vehicles in the flagship Edition #1 trim level gain features such as Quantum grey paint, LED headlights, interior highlights in an Amaretto brown colour, illuminated inlays, and lower exterior body parts finished in a contrasting Manhattan grey colour.

Driver assistance systems such as active lane assist and traffic jam assist, taken from Audi’s larger vehicles, also feature on the new Q2.
