Supercar event revs up for charity

A web developer with a passion for fast cars is calling on other enthusiasts to come together in aid of charity.

Allan Kendall, pictured above, is preparing to hold Full Throttle at Castle Fraser later this month, and already has about 90 supercars signed up.

All proceeds from the event will go to Make A Wish Foundation, which helps turn wishes into reality for children fighting life-threatening medical conditions.

Full Throttle has been months in the planning, and Allan is hoping both families and car lovers alike will enjoy a fun packed day out.

“There’s going to be a really good variety of cars including a Bugatti Veyron, supercars, GTs, and modified cars,” he said.
“Everyone has been brilliant in coming forward with cars, and Peter Vardy are sponsoring the event.

“I chose Make A Wish because as a parent myself, you never know when you’re going to be on the wrong side of the fence with a poorly child.

“It’s a very worthwhile charity, and hopefully everyone will have a great time.”

Allan himself owns a Vauxhall Monaro VXR V8, and runs a VXR group for the north-east.

Full Throttle will take place on May 28. For more information and for tickets, visit www.fullthrottleevent.com
