Who: More than 90 guests attended the dinner to mark the end of Lochaber Ideas Week.
Having delivered the inaugural Charles Kennedy Memorial Lecture earlier in the day, Liberal peer joined the evening’s guest speaker, successful young Highland designer Christian MacLean, at the dinner.
Why: The week was organised by Lochaber Chamber of Commerce and around 1,000 people attended interactive events featuring speakers from a number of business sectors.
As well as a feature named Around Lochaber in Eighty Tables, a Dragons’ Glen contest was held, where 10 budding Lochaber companies pitched to a team of experienced local business people for a prize of £7,500. The winner was announced at the dinner.
