The festive season is nearly here and you can enjoy the best of the Scottish festivities, thanks to a north-east tour operator.

Whyte’s Coach Tours is offering trips to Glasgow and Edinburgh so you can take in the Christmas markets and do a bit of shopping.

Edinburgh’s Christmas Markets

Join Whyte’s on an excursion to Edinburgh’s Christmas Markets.

The traditional and romantic Christmas Market in the heart of the city of Edinburgh offers a unique shopping experience for every visitor with its fair of crafters, artists, gift shops and gastronomic surprises. Get into the Christmas spirit!

The coach will leave Skene Street in Aberdeen at 8am and arrive in Edinburgh at 11.45am. You will then have over five hours to explore the Christmas Markets, before heading back to Aberdeen at 5pm (arriving back at Skene Street at approximately 7.45pm).

Fares are £25 for an adult and children under 12 is £15.

Christmas in the Borders

The Scottish Borders is one of the most picturesque parts of the country, and no more so than at Christmas.

This tour will let you enjoy this fantastic area, visiting friendly towns and villages on excursions.

At Peebles Hydro Hotel, you’ll enjoy an extensive entertainment package, as well as delicious meals and a glass or two of bubbly!

This package includes luxury coach travel, coffee on the first day and accommodation for four nights at the Peebles Hydro Hotel (DBB on the 23rd and full board 24th-26th).
