Emergency services are at a serious road traffic collision on the A965 Stromness to Kirkwall road near Finstown in Orkney.
It is understood that three vehicles are involved.
Two fire crews from Kirkwall are at the scene and have used cutting gear to release one person. It is is not known if others are trapped.
There is no information on injuries.
The road is closed between the Harray Road end and Baikies.
Local diversions are in place.
