It came, it went and it came again.
There was no escaping the snow this weekend as flurries swept the country and wreaked havoc on the roads.
Those with weekend plans faced becoming stuck as persistent wintry weather closed parts of the A9 and shut down public transport.
Met Office issued a yellow “be aware” warning for snow across Grampian and the Highlands, with up to 5cm expected to fall on low ground today and tomorrow.
