Integrated business communications group Coltel has added one of the industry’s leading figures to its Aberdeen-based team as the company prepares for further growth.

Paul Watt has been appointed business development manager and brings almost two decades of experience in the sector to his new role. The new recruit joins Coltel from HighNet, where he served as partner manager during four years with the firm, and will utilise his experience and broad contact base to strengthen his new employer’s position in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

Coltel is a provider of integrated business communications, IT and testing services. The well-established company has wide range of clients, from oil and gas operators and service companies to major players in the haulage industry and the farming community.

Neil Collie, founder and owner of Coltel, said: “We have worked closely with Paul during his time with HighNet, which remains a valued partner of Coltel, and are delighted to welcome him to the team. He will have a vital role to play as we move forward with our plans to grow the business.
“Paul’s knowledge of the industry is second to none and that type of expertise is at the heart of Coltel. Our aim is to provide unparalleled service to our clients and our commitment to ensuring we have the very best people in every department is an important part of that.

“We work in an industry which will never stand still and Coltel is constantly evolving to stay ahead of the pack. Paul’s appointment is another demonstration of our determination to lead from the front.”
