Man injured after car and lorry collide on north-east road

A car and lorry have collided on a north-east road.

Emergency services headed out to the incident on South Deeside Road, near the Maryculter House Hotel, after the alarm was raised at 2.30pm.

A police spokeswoman said an elderly man had minor injuries and was being “assessed further”.

She added that the road was closed for a short while and local diversions were in place but it was now being cleared.
