Firefighters were called to a blaze above a Banff pub tonight.
Two crews were sent to the flat above The Ship Inn in the north-east town at around 10.50pm.
The stop message, indicating the situation was under control, was back to the control room by 11.10pm.
Police said the blaze was contained to the property above the Deveronside pub.
The first fire engine left the scene at around 11.50pm.
