A north-east community group is offering financial support to other groups in need during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Peterhead Area Community Trust (Pact) is currently an anchor funder for the Scottish Government, meaning it is holding grants available to community groups during the crisis.
Community Heart Peterhead, The Buchan Giving Tree, The Brave Outdoors and Men United have already benefited from the scheme.
Vice chairman Graeme Mackie said: “Pact is delighted to be working with and supporting our community at this time.
“We are committed to supporting our community and look forward to opening our pavilion for community use once government guidelines allow it.”
The group has also allowed local engineer Joe Skinner, of Protecting Essential Workers in the North-East, to use their pavilion as a work space to make visors and other PPE items.
Any groups who are working to support the local community that require funding, and are not in receipt of any other grants, should e-mail diannebeagrie@gmail.com for more information.
