Aberdeen designer gives the classic rowie a modern makeover

A popular north-east delicacy has inspired a rather tasty looking phone case.

Graphic designer Mark Elrick has given the rowie, a technical twist by turning into a mobile phone case.

Rowies are a traditional fisherman’s snack which have become a staple in the area.

Aberdeen born Mr Elrick said: “I used the greasy motif after being inspired by the culture and heritage of my hometown.”
