All you need to know about George Ezra’s P&J Live gig in Aberdeen

Brit Award-winning musician George Ezra will rock Aberdeen’s P&J Live this weekend.

The singer, who rose to fame with the release of his hit single Budapest in 2014, will play his biggest hits for his north-east fans on Sunday.

Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming show.

When and where will George Ezra perform?

English superstar George Ezra will bring his new Gold Rush Kid tour to Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Sunday September 25. Doors open at 6pm. The support act will perform at 8pm and George is expected to take to the stage at 9pm. The show should end around 10.30pm.

What’s George Ezra best known for?

George Ezra is a British singer-songwriter who rose to prominence eight years ago when he released his hit single Budapest which topped the charts in many countries.

His newest album Gold Rush Kid, which was released in June 2022, features hits such as Green Green Grass and Anyone For You (Tiger Lily).

Earlier this year, the singer announced he’d be working with YouTube Music as their Sustainability Partner for 2022. Together with YoutTube, he made a donation to the National Trust to plant around 17,000 trees across the UK.

Which songs will he perform?

In addition to songs from his latest album, George will play some of his biggest hits including Shotgun, Hold My Girl, and Blame It On Me when he takes to the P&J Live stage.

How do I get to P&J Live to see George Ezra in Aberdeen?

Venue bosses would like to encourage gig-goers to use public transport.

Bus

Stagecoach Jet Service 727:  Stagecoach will be operating its 727 Service between Union Square and P&J Live, running every 20 minutes until 9pm and then every 30 minutes.

Additional busses also will depart from Union Square to the venue on a dedicated PJ1 service from 5.50pm.

Buses will depart back into Aberdeen City Centre after the event is finished – these will depart from the front of Hilton Hotel.

Car

Attendees can enter via Dyce Drive or A96 if travelling southbound, as other entry points are bus gates only. Visitors can exit via all three exits, at the A96, Dyce Drive and Wellheads Drive.

Will alcohol and food be available?

There are many food and beverage options available to purchase, including 195 Bar & Grill offering a variety of tasty meals.
