The Scottish Premiership trophy will be in Aberdeen tomorrow as part of a Celtic supporters club’s annual charity day.
The event, hosted by Grampian Emerald Celtic Supporters Club, will begin at 12pm at Auchmill Golf Club in the Northfield area of the city.
It will involve teams of four players, two for darts and two for pool, compete with a quiz taking place as well.
Money raised will go to two local charities, Friends of Anchor and the Aberdeen branch of Down’s Syndrome Scotland.
Running for over 20 years, the event has raised thousands of pounds for local charities and was set up by the supporters club after the death of member and coach driver, Fred Smith.
The winners of the competition will win the Fred Smith Cup, which was named in Mr Smith’s honour, while there will be raffles to be one, including a week’s accommodation on the Costa del Sol in Spain.
The Scottish Premiership trophy will be on display, after the east end Glasgow club allowed the Grampian Emerald Celtic Supporters Club to have it for the event and members of the public will be able to get a photo with it.
Last year, the event raised over £800 for Alzheimer Scotland and Charlie House respectively.
It costs £40 for a team of four to enter, with entrants able to turn up on the day.
