North-east fire crews tackled two grass fires last night.
One unit was called to King’s Links Golf Club at 2.30am and another was sent to land near Auchenblae at 11.30pm.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said firefighters used beaters and buckets of water to put out the flames.
He added: “The blazes were very minor so things were brought under control very quickly.”
Experts last week warned of wildfires spreading across the region as warm, dry weather conditions continue.
