Holiday celebrations were in full swing at Drum Castle as youngsters donned their detective caps to hunt out Easter treats.
Families took the trip to the Drumoak spot to take part in the Easter festivities today – solving clues to find as much chocolate as possible.
A number of treats were hidden amongst the spring flowers and oak trees in the shadows of the 700-year-old castle.
Others took a more relaxing approach with a wander around the historic rose gardens or ventured inside the building which is one of the country’s oldest tower houses.
Our Press and Journal Photographers Kenny Elrick and Kami Thomson were there snapping the best of the days action below.
The action follows a whole host of Easter action across the north-east and north.
