A north-east MSP has urged his fellow parliamentarians to back the Press and Journal’s Apprentice 100 campaign.
Aberdeen Central MSP Kevin Stewart has lodged a motion at Holyrood applauding our initiative.
It commends the efforts to kick-start the careers of talented youngsters in the north and north-east – and praises the employers who have backed our campaign.
Our mission is to create 100 new apprenticeships in 100 days.
All employers have to do is pledge one apprenticeship or traineeship.
In return, they will feature in our campaign coverage and be placed on our exclusive roll of honour.
We have already notched up more than 20 pledges in little more than two weeks and have attracted widespread support from politicians, employers and business organisations.
