Two men have died after a crash on the A90 this afternoon .
The collision, involving two HGVs and a car, occurred on the A90 Foveran to Balmedie road near Hatterseat at around 1.20pm this afternoon.
The two men driving the lorries have both died, while the female driver of the car was taken to ARI with minor injuries.
The road has been closed and is likely to remain closed for the remainder of the evening to allow for collision investigation.
A diversion is in operation – Southbound via B9000 to Pitmedden, then B999 through Whitecairns and B977 through Belhelvie.
Northbound is the same but in reverse.
Sgt Steve Manson of the Trunk Road Policing Group said: “We would appeal for anyone who was in the area around the time of this collision and saw what happened to contact us.
