Eighties duo Erasure will return to Aberdeen in November after a break of almost 30 years.
The pair were one of the most successful acts of the eighties and nineties, and had 24 consecutive UK Top 40 hits, including A Little Respect and Chains of Love.
Singer Andy Bell and keyboard player Vince Clarke formed the band in the early 1980s, and they entered the music scene in 1985 with their debut single Who Needs Love Like That.
Aberdeen Performing Arts Press Manager, Joyce Summers, said: “For many people Erasure provided the soundtrack for the 80s – and beyond, having produced first class music from their early days through to today.
“We know Andy and Vince have a legion of fans here in the north-east and we expect their Music Hall gig to be one of the most memorable nights of the year.”
The duo played a sell-out gig in the city’s now demolished Capitol in 1988, and will return to play the Music Hall on Wednesday, November 19.
