Two pensioners have appeared in court following an alleged attack on a pregnant woman at a supermarket.
Karl Felber, 67, is accused of punching Kirstyn McGregor on the head and kicking her body at an Asda store in Aberdeen.
The incident is alleged to have happened at the city’s Beach Boulevard Retail Park on January 2.
It is claimed Adrienne Felber, 69, also behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing at the woman.
The pensioners have further been charged with repeatedly driving past a house on Bonnymuir Place, in Aberdeen, and posting offensive material through the letterbox.
They allegedly behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by staring at Kwai Mo who was at the house between the December 7 and Christmas Eve last year.
The pair, who live at the same address in Aberdeen, denied all charges when they appeared at the city’s justice of the peace court yesterday.
They also lodged a special defence claiming they have an alibi for the offence they are accused of committing in the run up to Christmas.
They will appear again for trial next year.
Rosemount resident Miss McGregor, 20, who was four months pregnant with her first child at the time, said she was attacked after she went to the city store on her lunch break.
Her partner Lee Storey, 25, drove her to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where she spent three hours in hospital as doctors performed scans and checks.
Police Scotland launched an investigation after reports of the alleged incident and trawled CCTV footage from around the area.
