A north-east developer has donated hundreds of pounds to a local charity which supports people with spinal conditions.
Huntly developers, Deveron Homes, have handed a cheque for £250 to Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBHS), which runs a family support group in Aberdeen.
The charity supports people with spina bifida, hydrocephalus and other related conditions.
The housebuilder raised the cash by re-routing the funds it would normally spend on sending out Christmas cards.
People were asked to nominate their favourite charity through social media, with SBHS coming out on top with some 3,200 votes.
Lynsey Hamilton, north-east fundraising manager for the charity, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Deveron Homes for their generous donation.
“This is a much-needed boost to our funds which will help us fund specialist crèche staff at our Aberdeen support group meetings and help towards art materials for the children.”
