Early morning traffic on the A90 has slowed after a four vehicle RTC just outside Portlethen.
Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 7:50am.
The exact circumstances of the multi car crash are not yet clear although vehicles appear to have left the road.
There are no reports of injuries and the cars have been removed from the carriageway onto Bruntland Road.
Police have cleared the road and left the scene.
