A second man has appeared in court charged in connection with a north-east ATM raid.
Police had launched a major investigation after a break-in at the Scotmid shop on Craigour Road, in Torphins, on February 28.
A heavy duty forklift was used during the early morning incident and the ATM was later found dumped on the road.
The B993 Kincardine O’Neil to Torphins road was closed from the Torphins bypass to the village while officers carried out inquiries.
Mccauley Barker, 19, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday facing a string of charges.
He is the third person to be charged over the incident.
Barker, of Spennymoor, County Durham, is charged with two counts of theft by housebreaking and three of theft of a motor vehicle.
He is also charged with attempted theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of being on a premises with intent to commit theft.
During the hearing, he made no plea and the case against him was committed for further examination.
He was released on bail and no further court dates were set.

A statement from police said: “Inquiries into this incident remain ongoing and all those who have assisted so far are thanked for their information and support.”
Meanwhile, 32-year-old Michael Broomfield appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court for the second time charged over the incident.
He is facing the same charges as Barker, his case was fully committed for trial and he was remanded in custody.
Broomfield, of Spennymoor, County Durham, had previously appeared in court in connection with the matter last week.
Another man, 26, had been charged by police last week and was due to appear in court but was released pending further inquiries.
