He’s living like a lord at a luxury Scottish manse and enjoyed a haggis supper from a Glasgow chippie – and now it seems Justin Bieber is enjoying more of the country’s culture with his choice in attire.
The Canadian pop star has been in Scotland to perform at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro as part of his ‘Purpose’ world tour.
Fans have flocked to the gates of Kinross House, his Scottish luxury getaway to get a glimpse of him, and were delighted when they spotted him putting in an order at the Blue Lagoon chip shop.
And now he has made a Highland designer’s day after sporting her creation at his gig.
Earlier this year Siobhan Mackenzie from Fortrose reached out to his manager explaining what she did.
“He passed my information onto Justin who loved my work and decided he needed a Siobhan Mackenzie Kilt for the Glasgow leg of his world tour,” she said.
“I got confirmation from his tour manager followed by a call from his stylist and I was thrilled to have the opportunity.
“Bieber was very excited to receive his kilt and as a young designer I was honoured to have properly welcomed Justin to Scotland with a SM kilt. I loved working with him and his wonderful team.”
Miss Mackenzie said she’s had a great response since the singer debuted the kilt at one of his Glasgow shows.
“My brand promotes sustainability and a Made in Scotland ethos so it was fantastic that Justin got behind our brand and represented us in Glasgow.”
He hasn’t understood everything about Scotland though. A video has gone viral which shows that Bieber is still finding some Scots accents hard to understand.
