Two fire crews were tasked to a dwelling fire in South Uist this morning after the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received reports of the incident at 7.20am.
The two crews, from Lochboisdale and Benbecula, attended the fire at a property in Daliburgh, where two firefighters draped in breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were in operation to extinguish the blaze.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a stop message was received at 8.02am.
The extent of the damage is unknown at this stage.
