Louise MacRae has been reported missing from her home in Stromness, Orkney
An earlier appeal launched by police to locate a missing 74-year-old in Orkney who is considered to be vulnerable has proven a success as she was traced safe and well.
Louise MacRae had been reported missing from her home in the Stromness area of Orkney after she was last spotted yesterday evening at 5pm.
However, following an earlier appeal, she has since been traced.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that Louise MacRae, 74, who had been reported missing in Stromness has now been traced safely.
“Thank you to everyone who assisted with our earlier appeal.”
