The first-ever Orkney Pride event will take place this summer with organisers stating that they are “thrilled” to reach this stage.
The event has been pencilled into the diary for June 27 and will allow members of the LGBT community a day of celebration, colour and cheer.
Organisers have told keen attendees to keep an eye out for further updates in the coming months on their social media pages, with plans being put in place to celebrate LGBT history month in February.
