A motorcyclist from Belgium has been killed on a single track road in Argyll.
Two motorcycles were involved in the collision on the B8074 road between Dalmally and Bridge of Orchy on Monday.
The 66-year-old man who died has been named by police as Germain Hubert Deweer, from Belgium.
A police spokeswoman said: “A 66-year-old man has died following a collision on the B8074 Glen Orchy road at around 1.50pm on Monday May 2.
“Two motorcycles collided. The 66-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow where he was pronounced dead.
“Another motorcyclist was also taken there. Medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“The road was closed for several hours while crash scene investigators examined the scene.”
Mr Deweer was travelling as part of a group of motorcyclists. At the time of the crash he had become separated from the group. They were further along the road in front of him when he was involved in the crash with the other motorcycle.

The road reopened at 8.30pm on Monday.
A diversion along the A85 Oban to Perth road, via Tyndrum, was put in place after the incident.
The B8074 is a narrow, twisty road which passes through Glen Orchy. It starts just south of Bridge of Orchy on the A82, and heads south-westwards through the glen to the A85 east of Dalmally.
It is a shorter route between the two than passing through Tyndrum, but almost certainly slower as the road is entirely single-track with passing places.
It is popular with tourists as there are some spectacular falls on the River Orchy.
The A85 was busy with bank holiday traffic on Monday and hail showers struck the area throughout the afternoon.
