One airlifted to hospital following Nairn accident

One person has been airlifted to Raigmore Hospital following an accident on the outskirts of Nairn.

A vehicle left the road and struck a tree near Geddes House, off the B9101. A second casualty from the vehicle was also taken to hospital by road.

Emergency services attended the accident, which happened around 8.40pm.

The extent of the injuries is not yet known.
