More than 250 people have attended a flower festival at a historic Speyside castle which aimed to encourage people to grow local.
Five florists from across the north were at Gordon Castle for the Big Flower Weekend event.
And organisers hope the showcase will become a regular feature to highlight how much interest there is in producing plants close to home.
Zara Gordon Lennox, owner of Gordon Castle Walled Garden, said: “Despite the gusty wind and occasional shower, it was fantastic to see how many people were interested in Scottish-grown flowers and to be able to show them our four colour-themed beds, the story of our restoration and how the florists used our flowers in so many different way.”
