
A 24-year-old man has been charged after allegedly travelling 111mph on a Moray road.
Police have confirmed the offence happened today on the B9040 Lossiemouth to Hopeman road.
Officers said they detected the driver travelling at 111mph, driving with no insurance and a defective tyre.
A statement by police said: “With the bad weather continuing overnight, please consider if your journey is necessary and drive with caution, there is a lot of standing water and some reports of fallen trees.”
