A height vehicle has been requested by three crews tackling a blaze at Burghead Maltings in Elgin. A spokesman said the fire is not understood to be serious, however due to the height of the maltkiln further assistance is required. “We believe the fire is just in the kiln – there is 60 tonnes of malt within,” he said.
