A reported summer transfer for Celtic has sparked excitement in Glasgow after sharing an Instagram picture of him wearing a Hoops top.
West Bromwich Albion’s James McClean, who is known to be a big Celtic fan, posted the snap to celebrate the Parkhead club claiming the Scottish Premiership title.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move north in the past and his latest social media exploits has prompted a flurry of speculation over his future.
In response to the picture, one fan wrote: “Would absolutely love to see you in that top next season. Whats the chances?”
Another commented: “Suits you mate, ‘mon join the party.”
West Brom boss Tony Pulis has said he intends to speak the player to see where his heart lies.
He told the Birmingham Mail: “I haven’t got a clue. I’ll have a chat with him when he comes in.”
