What: Befriend a Child Big Kids’ Ball.
Where: Mercure Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen.
Who: Almost 300 guests attended the event, which was sponsored by 80:20, Centrica, Ardoe House Hotel and Spa, XIC and One Stop Waste.
Why: The ball had the theme of A Night at the Circus and featured jugglers, stilt walkers and fire breathers from Aberdeen University; magic from Fifth Dimension; an aerial hoop performance from Studio 202; and a fantastic circus-themed dance performance from Danscentre.
Guests were treated to a three-course meal and music from local favourites Mustang.
The colourful event raised £49,000 for the charity.
