Stormzy and Dua Lipa rocket up the charts following Brit Award wins

Stormzy’s Brit-award winning debut album has seen a chart boost after the rapper swept to victory at this week’s ceremony.

Gang Signs & Prayer surged 31 places to enter the top 10 for the first time in almost a year and was also certified Platinum – marking 300,000 sales.

The record won British album of the year at Wednesday’s ceremony, while Stormzy also collected the British male solo artist before launching into a politically-charged rap.

Gang Signs & Prayer is at number 10, while Dua Lipa’s self-titled debut album reached a new peak at three after she also collected two gongs at the ceremony.

Rag’N’Bone Man’s Human surges back up to fourth after he performed on the night and also took home the best single prize.

The Greatest Showman remains at the summit for the seventh week running, while Ed Sheeran – who missed out on a host of awards the Brits – stays in second with his record-breaking third album, Divide.

Drake’s God’s Plan is top of the single’s charts for the fifth straight week as it enjoyed its best streaming performance yet.

Some 7.6 million plays of God’s Plan were recorded in the UK across the past seven days in the wake of the official music video release.

Rudimental’s These Days is at number two while Dua Lipa’s IDGAF lifts to number three and Kendrick Lamar’s Black Panther track All The Stars with SZA rockets to number five.
