Tickets are now on sale for the hottest event in Forres this summer – Piping Hot Forres.
The piping event has already attracted over 90 bands to sign up – with some travelling from as far away as Switzerland and Austria to perform.
There are also plenty Scottish bands taking part, including the Field Marshall Montgomery Pipe Band, Dufftown and District, Forres and District, 2622 Highland sqn RAF and Elgin and District.
The deadline for performance applications is still two weeks away.
Ian Widdowson, Chairman of Forres Events Ltd said: “This was a hugely successful event last year and we hope to see even more people coming along to the event.
“Hopefully the weather will remain nice for everyone to enjoy this spectacular event.”
Also featuring at the event will be Johnston’s of Elgin sponsored craft tent, trade stalls and Walkers shortbread featuring some of the finest produce in Moray and the surrounding area and new for 2014 Brodie Countryfare’s Piping Hot Cafe, a seated area serving teas and coffees.
The event takes place on Saturday 28 June in Grant Park. Adult tickets will be priced at £10 with youth priced at £7.
