Aberdeen defender Paul Quinn, who joined the Dons from Ross County during the summer after an on-and-off move, will today return to Dingwall to sign for Jim McIntyre’s side.
The 30-year-old former Motherwell, Cardiff City and Doncaster Rovers defender played for County from October 2014 until the end of last season before agreeing a two-year contract with the Dons in June.
Quinn’s family have not settled in the Granite City and are keen to return to the Highlands, with Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes reluctant to let the player go. But after talks between them last week gave the move his blessing.
Quinn, who scored the winner when Aberdeen beat Celtic 3-2 in September, was a substitute in yesterday’s 3-2 win against County.
The move had already been agreed between the clubs, but was delayed until the game was played.
